At her studio in Denver, Colorado, this is the design philosophy that jewelry designer Janet Robinson follows in creating and developing her own unique collection of hand-made jewelry. Although she designs her pieces for the wearer to enhance their natural beauty with a complementary color and style, her ultimate goal is for the pieces to evoke the properties of love, luck, prosperity, healing and protection of natural gemstones. When the mood strikes to create, Janet finds inspiration for her clever designs from the beauty and restorative power of nature.

"Often, it is the materials that can become inspiring and sometimes, it is something else; something, that draws me back for a second look. My real passion is to take unusually shaped or colored gemstones that are known for their positive restorative properties and transform them into fashionable pieces that are wearable and fun.”

“It's my way of inspiring other people to see that jewelry can be beautiful without having to always conform to what is expected," explains Robinson.In addition to her innate sense of style and creativity, Janet brings a wide range of interests to her design abilities.
